Steam locomotives are not immediately associated with Vienna´s local railway WLB. But for 125th anniversary of the railway line Wien - Wiener Neudorf an old WLB kettle was brought out to mark the event. The former WLB steam loco Nr. 72 was built in 1919 by Krauss in Linz. Nowadays it is cared for by the Martinsberger Lokalbahn crew in Zwettl, but is owned by Brenner & Brenner, who previously have also given the loco the purely fictional number 92 2271.
