Austrian Legend 310.23 back in Service
After a conservation period of two years, the legendary Gölsdorf "Adriatic" 310.23 made a comeback to active service in mid April, by running on the Franz-Josefs-Bahn from Wien to Sigmundsherberg and back. This event, intended to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1911-built locomotive, as well as the usual kick-off bash at the museum in Strasshof during the same weekend, formally marked the start of the 2011 steam season in Austria.
