213.902 between Smichov and Beroun

The post-war industrial tank engine 213.902 is about as large of an 0-4-0 loco as one will find anywhere! In mid April, the Railway Touring Company hired the kettle for a bash over the Prague Semmering and then on to Beroun via the sparsely used connecting tracks between Hostivice and Rudna. The attached pictures document it on that stretch of the line. For the return journey between Beroun and Praha-Smichov the locomotive was then routed onto the busy main line corridor via Karlštejn, and despite of its top speed of merely 40 km/h, it was only twice stopped to let other service trains pass by. The run between Beroun and Smichov hence just took a bit over an hour and can be considered 'top notch'. The whole thing could be likened to Thomas the Tank Engine running from Euston to Milton Keynes on the West Coast Main Line with green lights almost throughout!
